Notifiable Interest

Aminex PLC ("the Company") announces that, following the Company's recent
Placing and Open Offer, it has been notified today that Schroder Investment
Management Limited has an interest in 11,494,252 Ordinary Shares of €0.06 each
which represents 7.33% of the issued share capital of the Company.  The shares
are held in portfolios managed on a discretionary basis for clients under
investment management agreements.  These shares are held in (a) unit trust(s)
operated and managed by an affiliated company, Schroder Unit Trusts Limited, and
are registered or to be registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited.
