AMUR MINERALS CORPORATION
(AIM: AMC)
Anti Monopoly Board Approval Received
Amur Minerals Corporation ("Amur" or the "Company"), a nickel-copper sulphide mineral exploration and resource development company focused on the far east of Russia, is pleased to provide an update on its mining licence application at its Kun-Manie project.
The Board reports that representatives of the Russian state authorities have verbally confirmed that the Anti-Monopoly Board ("FAS") have approved the Company's updated mining application and that the Ministry of Defence ("MOD") and Federal Security Service ("FSB") are also in the process of completing their respective reviews of the updated mining application.
Once the reviews of all three organisations are complete, Rosnedra will draft the terms of the mining licence for review by the Ministry of Economic Development ("MED"). The review by MED will consider the economic considerations and financial viability of the project.
Robin Young, CEO of Amur Minerals, commented:
"We are pleased that we continue to move through the update and review process related to the Kun-Manie mining application. The update will provide the most current information to all agencies related to the mining licence process. As various milestones are completed, we will be announcing the results."
