Directorate Change
The Board hereby announces that on Friday 29 September 2006 Anthony Alexander
Bourne's position as Finance Director was made redundant and his contract of
employment was duly terminated. Mr Bourne subsequently resigned as a director
yesterday.
Tony was appointed to the Board in May 2002 and has been responsible for the
development of the Group's internal controls and financial reporting mechanisms.
However following the disposal of Accommodation Hire, Engineering Appliances and
various other reorganisations the Board now believes that the function
previously conducted by Tony can be carried out by existing management.
Accordingly one of the non-executive directors, Jean Christophe Pillois, will
assume overall responsibility for the Group's finance function. The Group
Financial Controller and Company Secretary will assist him in this role.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Tony for all his hard
work and dedication shown to the company since his appointment and wishes him
well in his future career.
