Grant of share options
Anglesey Mining plc announces that options to purchase ordinary
shares of 1 pence each in the company were granted to the
following directors on 27 March 2009 -

All of these options are exercisable over the period from
27 March 2010 to 27 March 2019. There is a performance
criterion to be met in respect of each of these share
options, namely that the company's share price performance
from the date of grant must exceed that of the companies
in the top quartile of the FTSE 100 index. There was no
consideration for the grant of the options.
The share options were granted under the terms of the company's 2004 Unapproved Share Option Scheme which was adopted by
shareholders at the company's annual general meeting held on 20 October 2004.
