The company today announces that David Lean and Ian Cuthbertson, both directors
of the company, have exercised the following options over 700,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each:

The options which have been exercised were granted between October 1996 and
October 2004.

The new ordinary shares to be issued will rank pari passu with the existing
ordinary shares of the company. Application has been made for the shares to be
admitted to the Official List and trading is expected to commence on 14 July
2006. Following the allotment of the new ordinary shares the issued share
capital of the company will be 138,808,051 shares.
