Anglo American plc ("Anglo American") notes Anglo American Platinum Limited's announcement of its results for the six months ended 30 June 2023, released this morning to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and available via the following website link: www.angloamericanplatinum.com/investors/financial-results-centre.

Anglo American Platinum Limited reported adjusted EBITDA of R13.4 billion (reviewed), equivalent to approximately $730 million.

Below is a reconciliation of Anglo American Platinum Limited's adjusted EBITDA to its contribution to Anglo American's underlying EBITDA:
