DIRECTOR/PDMR INTERESTS


On the 8 May 2007, the Company was advised by its South African Transfer
Secretaries that the following director and Person Discharging Managerial
Responsibility ("PDMR") of the Company each acquired shares of US$0.50 in the
capital of the Company (the "Shares") at a price of R378.695 per Share, in terms
of the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP"):

   • N F Oppenheimer, a director of the Company acquired 1 Share; and

   • P M Baum, a PDMR of the Company acquired 102 Shares.


This announcement is issued in compliance with the United Kingdom Listing
