Anglo American Long Term Incentive Plan - "LTIP"

The Company announces that Share awards granted under the LTIP in 2007 vested on 1 April 2010. Following deductions to meet appropriate income tax and national insurance liabilities, the net increases in share interests are:

R Médori          (Director) 15,601 shares

B R Beamish  (PDMR)     5,758 shares

W De Simoni  (PDMR)     4,555 shares

D M Weston   (PDMR)     6,317 shares

P G Whitcutt   (PDMR)     6,118 shares

J F Mackenzie (PDMR)     3,542 shares

The notification of these transactions is to satisfy the Company's obligations under the Financial Services Authority Disclosure Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
