Anglo American PLC 30 January 2008 News Release 30 January 2008 Anglo American update regarding power supply to mining operations in South Africa Anglo American is pleased to announce that, following meetings with Eskom and the South African government, all of its South African operations have had 80% of their electrical power restored today. Furthermore, Anglo American welcomes the decision to increase power to the 90% level by the end of this week.
