Anglo Asian Mining plc, the AIM listed mining development company with gold and copper properties in Azerbaijan, announces that its annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008 will today be posted to shareholders and is now available on the Company's website, www.aamining.com. 

The Company also announces that its Annual General Meeting will be held at 2pm on Thursday 23 July 2009 at the offices of Hammonds, 7 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4YH.
