ANGLO-EASTERN PLANTATIONS PLC

DIVIDEND - DETERMINATION OF STERLING EQUIVALENT

At the Annual General Meeting of Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc held on 31 July 2008, shareholders approved the payment of a final and only dividend of 14.0 cents in respect of the year ended 31 December 2007.

The sterling equivalent of this dividend to be used will be based on the rate of £1=US$1.9181. This has been determined at the exchange rate ruling at the date of closure of the register on 8 August 2008.

Shareholders who have elected to receive their dividend in Sterling will therefore receive 7.30 pence per share payable on 9 September 2008.
