Director/PDMR shareholding

On 16 December 2013, Animalcare issued and allotted 5,000 ordinary shares of 20p each ("Ordinary Shares") to Iain Menneer, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, following an exercise of options over Ordinary Shares held by Mr Menneer at a price of 97.5 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the Animalcare Group plc Executive Share Option Scheme.

Following this transaction, Mr Menneer's beneficial interest is in 14,381 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.1% of the Company's issued share capital.

Application will be made for the admission of the 5,000 new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM. It is expected that admission will become effective and dealings will commence in the new Ordinary Shares on 23 December 2013.  

On admission to trading of the 5,000 new Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 20,755,204 Ordinary Shares in issue with voting rights.
