Animalcare Group plc (AIM:  ANCR), a leading supplier of veterinary medicines and other products to the veterinary and agricultural markets, announces the retirement of non-executive director Geoff Rhodes effective today 30^th November 2010.

Mr Rhodes joined the Company as a member of its founding management team in 1972.  He subsequently became Managing Director, overseeing the development of the Ritchey livestock business, until his appointment as a non-executive director in 2005.

Chairman James Lambert commented "I wish to thank Geoff for his service to the Company over the past 38 years. His past contribution in an executive capacity and latterly his support as a non-executive director have been greatly appreciated."
