Anpario, the independent manufacturer of natural sustainable animal feed additives for health, nutrition and biosecurity, advises that Kate Allum will step down as Non-Executive Chairman and Chair of the Nomination Committee, leaving the Board at Anpario's AGM on 29 June 2023. Matthew Robinson will take over as Non-Executive Chairman from that date.
Kate's decision is due to family health and other commitments which are increasingly requiring more of her time and focus.
Kate Allum, stated:
"Being a member of the Anpario team has been a privilege and it is with regret that I have made this decision but to do otherwise would be unfair to all stakeholders given the increasing demands on my time elsewhere. Anpario has been a wonderful experience with the highest of ethical and business standards demonstrated by the recent King's Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development. I am disappointed to have to step away from the role but wish Anpario and its employees the very best of success."
Richard Edwards, Chief Executive, commented: "Clearly, Kate's decision is disappointing as she has made a significant contribution to Anpario since joining. However, I fully understand her decision and sincerity in ensuring the Board has Non-Executive Directors who are fully able to commit their time to the stewardship of the Company. I would therefore personally, and on behalf of the Board, like to thank Kate for her support, commitment, and guidance during her tenure as Non-Executive Chairman and we send our best wishes for the future."
A search to appoint a new Non-Executive Director is already underway, the outcome of which will be announced in due course.
