Aptitude Software Group plc ("Aptitude Software" or the "Group")
Change of Auditor and Partner Programme
Aptitude Software, a specialist provider of powerful financial management software to large global businesses, is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Thornton UK LLP ('Grant Thornton') as its new auditor with immediate effect. Grant Thornton replace PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ('PwC') who have formally resigned and confirmed that there are no reasons or matters connected with their ceasing to hold office as auditors which they consider should be brought to the attention of the members of Aptitude Software. Grant Thornton will conduct the audit of Aptitude Software's financial statements for the financial year to 31 December 2019. The appointment of Grant Thornton as auditor for the following financial year will be subject to approval by shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2020.
The resignation of PwC provides Aptitude Software the opportunity to further expand its partner programme, a programme that already includes the three other largest accountancy firms; KPMG, Deloitte and Ernst & Young in North America, Europe and Asia. These networks of partners influence the majority of Aptitude Software's new business opportunities as well as providing resource to assist our clients with the implementation of the Group's products.
