Directorate Changes


Mr Richard Holway has resigned as a non-executive Director of the company in
order to pursue his other business interests. The Board would like to thank
Richard for his valued contribution to the development of Microgen.


Mr Peter Bertram has been appointed as a non-executive Director and a member of
the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees of the Board. Mr Bertram is
currently non-executive Chairman of Phoenix IT Group plc and a non-executive
Director of Anite plc and office2office plc. Mr Bertram (52) is a Fellow of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and it is anticipated
that he will be appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee after the next Annual
General Meeting.


Mr Bertram has also been a director of AttentiV Systems Group plc and Azlan
Group plc during the past 5 years.  There are no further details required to be
disclosed pursuant to paragraphs 9.6.13(2) to (6) of the UK Listing Authority
Listing Rules.
