Replacement Purchase of Ordinary Shares for Treasury

The following replaces the Purchase of Ordinary Shares for Treasury' announcement released on 9 June 2023 at 16:43 under RNS No 3042C. The figure relating to the ordinary shares in circulation was incorrect.  The correct figure is 387,912,253, not 388,262,253 as previously notified.  The full amended text is shown below:

Purchase of Ordinary Shares for Treasury

The Company announces that on 9 June 2023, it purchased for holding in treasury 250,000 ordinary shares of 1 cent each at a price of 95.000000 cents per share, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 9 June 2022.

Following this transaction, the Company has 20,313,452 ordinary shares held in treasury and 387,912,253 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 408,225,705.

The shares in circulation (387,912,253) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
