Arbuthnot Banking Group launches 

Real Estate Fund Management Business

Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC, the independent diversified banking and financial services group, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Real Estate Fund Management Business.

The business will headed by Richard Tanner, who joins Arbuthnot from UBS where he was previously Managing Director of the UK Real Estate Team. Richard has 19 years' experience in real estate investment and has worked at UBS for 15 years. Richard joins Arbuthnot on 28 September, 2009.

Commenting on the launch of the business, Henry Angest, Chairman and Chief Executive of Arbuthnot Banking Group, said:
