Arc Minerals announces that it was today notified that Mr Nick von Schirnding, Executive Chairman of the Company, had today purchased 500,000 shares of no par value in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 2.50 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Nick von Schirnding holds a beneficial interest in 16,440,532 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 2.33 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. In addition, Mr von Schirnding holds a beneficial interest in 16,175,752 options and warrants.
