KNOWLEDGE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS PLC ('KTS' or 'Company')
The Company has been informed that in accordance with Part VI of the Companies
Act 1985 ('the Act') that HSBC Investment Bank plc was at the close of
business on 15 June 2001 interested in 5,000,000 Ordinary Shares in Knowledge
Technology Solutions plc representing 7.1% of the issued Shares (which will
become 6.6% after the proposed further issue to Billam plc).
HSBC Investment Bank Holdings plc as HSBC Investment Bank plc's parent and
HSBC Holdings plc, the ultimate parent company, were also interested, by
virtue of section 203 of the Act in all of the above mentioned Shares.
