                          APPOINTMENT OF JOINT BROKER

Ariana Resources plc ('Ariana' or 'the Company'), the gold exploration company
focused exclusively on Turkey, announces the appointment of King & Shaxson
Capital Limited ('K&S') as Joint Broker to the Company effective immediately.
Ambrian Partners Limited will remain as a broker to the Company.

The London businesses of K&S are owned by PhillipCapital, a Singaporean based
financial services company that employs over 2,500 people worldwide.
