Connemara Mining Company PLC

Highlights of comments made by John Teeling,

the Chairman of Connemara Mining, at the Annual General Meeting

held in Dublin at 12 noon on 8th July 2009

Ireland continues to demonstrate that it is an exciting base metal province, with excellent exploration results being reported from a number of explorers.

The principal focus is on the Limerick / Clare region where three zinc discoveries are being explored, the Connemara / Teck Cominco discoveries at Stonepark and Stonepark North, the Minco / Xstrata ongoing exciting discoveries at Pallas Green, and the recently reported Belmore / Lundin discovery in Clare.

Drilling is scheduled to start later this month on the Connemara ground in Limerick, where Teck Cominco are operators and hold a 75% interest. The focus is to develop the size of the Stonepark and Stonepark North zinc lenses and to test new anomalies on the 16 licenses.

Connemara is the fourth largest exploration ground holder in Ireland with a portfolio of what we believe are high potential licenses.

Work is continuing on the Castlemaine block where good results are being found.

Extensive geophysical and geochemical work is ongoing on our other licenses.

The recent revival in the zinc price to a level that is economic for Irish projects is welcome.

All resolutions were passed at the meeting.
