High Grade Zinc-Lead Mineralisation Intersected 400m to the Southwest of the Stonepark North discovery in Limerick.

·    Hole 53, drilling 400 metres (m) southwest of the Stonepark North discovery intersected high grade zinc/lead that returned 6.85m grading 10.47% zinc and 3.68% lead from 209.4m depth, including 2.75m at 19.76% zinc and 6.99% lead.

·    Hole 51, drilling 150m southwest of hole 53, intersected 7.55m at 4.88% zinc and 1.49% lead from 221.4m including, 1.0m at 21.90% zinc and 7.26% lead.

·    Both holes intersected mineralisation at similar depths to the discovery holes at Stonepark North.

·    Drilling is ongoing with two rigs on site.

Connemara Mining (AIM:Conn), the AIM listed Irish zinc explorer, is pleased to report additional results from the ongoing drilling programme in Limerick. The programme is a joint venture with and operated by Teck Ireland Ltd., a subsidiary of Teck Resources Limited - Canada's largest diversified mining company.

Recent drilling, approximately 400m to the southwest of the Stonepark North discovery zone, intersected additional high grade zinc-lead mineralisation.  These new intersections are of a similar style, and occur at a similar depth, to the previously reported intersections at Stonepark North - suggesting either a significant extension to the Stonepark North zone or the discovery of a new zone.

Hole 53 intersected 6.85m at 10.47% zinc and 3.68% lead from 209.4m, including a high-grade 2.75m interval at 19.76% zinc and 6.99% lead from 212.8m (see Table 1).  Hole 53 is located approximately 400m west of hole 26 (reported on September 4th,2009).

Hole 51 was drilled approximately 150 m south of hole 53 and intersected 7.55m at 4.88% zinc and 1.49% lead from 221.4m, including a 1.0m interval at 21.90% zinc and 7.26% lead from 224.05m.

The earlier reported results from Stonepark North defined a flat-lying zone of zinc-lead mineralization with a strike length of at least 500 metres in a north-south direction.  The zone is located approximately 2 km north of the original Stonepark discovery and appears to represent the shallower, up-dip portion of a larger mineralizing system.  The results outlined above either significantly extend this zone or are part of a new zone.

Recent drilling results are summarised in Table 1.

1All drill holes are vertical (-90 degrees). 2Reported April 23rd, 2010. 3Reported March 2nd, 2010. 4Reported January 20th, 2010. 5Reported Sept. 4th, 2009.

Two drill rigs are currently on site and approximately 10,000 metres of diamond drilling is planned for 2010.

John Teeling, Chairman of Connemara Mining, said "The Stonepark discovery in Limerick is getting bigger and better.  The latest drilling results either show a significant extension of Stonepark North or the discovery of a new zone.  The fact that these high grade results are at the same depth as Stonepark North and of similar geological character suggests an extension.  While it is still early days the evidence is pointing toward a significant orebody at Stonepark/Stonepark North."

This release has been approved by Graham Reid, P. Geo., Director BRG Technical Services, consultants to Connemara.  Mr. Reid has 30 years mineral exploration and evaluation experience.
