Artemis Alpha Trust plc ('the Company')

The Company announces that it has today cancelled 690,000 ordinary shares held in Treasury.

Following the cancellation, the Company continues to hold 2,263,500 ordinary shares in Treasury and has 30,404,988 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held in Treasury).

This number, 30,404,988, represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
