Notification of existing interests of Director on appointment

The Company has today been notified that Mr Andrew Dalrymple, who was appointed
a non-executive Director of the Company on 1 April 2004, is interested in 10,941
ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company, representing 0.03% of
the Company's total issued share capital. This interest arises by virtue of the
following holdings:

 1. Mr Dalrymple's minor child holds 941 ordinary shares in the Company -
    creating a beneficial interest; and
 2. Mr Dalrymple has discretion over the voting rights of 10,000 ordinary shares
    in the Company held by Fiona Jane Dalrymple - creating a non-beneficial
    interest.
