ARTEMIS ALPHA TRUST PLC (the 'Company')
Issue and allotment of shares in connection with the Artemis Alpha Trust
Investment Plan
The Board of the Company announces that it has today issued, conditional upon
admission to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority, 530 ordinary shares
of 1p each in the capital of the Company (the 'Shares') at a price of 188.5p per
share to the Artemis Alpha Trust Investment Plan.
The Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing
ordinary shares of 1p each. The Shares are expected to be admitted to the
Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange on or around Friday, 11 November 2005.
Following allotment the Company will have 33,321,329 Shares in issue.
