ARTEMIS ALPHA TRUST PLC (the 'Company')



Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 the
Company would like to notify the market of the following:

The Company's share capital consists of 33,358,488 ordinary shares of 1p each
with voting rights.  The Company holds 125,000 ordinary shares in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 33,233,488.

The above figure (33,233,488) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Artemis Alpha Trust plc
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
