9th February 2024
Artemis Resources Limited
('Artemis' or the 'Company')
TRADING HALT
Artemis Resources Limited (ASX/AIM: ARV) wishes to provide this update to shareholders on recent market activity.
The Company has been methodically exploring its West Pilbara tenement package for lithium mineralisation. Some of this tenure is located on the Osborne tenement which is the subject of a lithium joint venture with Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed company Greentech Metals Ltd ('Greentech') (ASX:GRE) (Osborne JV - ARV:49%, GRE:51%).
During the course of trading on the ASX on the 8th February 2024, the share price of Greentech increased considerably and the ASX subsequently issued Greentech with a price query statement. Due to the price query and as there are laboratory assays pending release, Greentech felt it appropriate to halt trading of its stock on the ASX to prevent any further speculative trading.
The Company's shares will continue to trade on AIM.
As the pending assay results relate to the joint venture tenement, Artemis also thought it prudent to halt trading of its stock on the ASX.
The assay information is currently being assessed and an announcement will be drafted and released to market upon exit on the trading halt, which is expected to be Tuesday, 13th February.
This announcement was approved for release by the Board.
