Secondary Listing of Shares

ARYZTA AG ("ARYZTA") has applied to the Irish Stock Exchange for the listing of 4,252,239 registered shares of nominal value CHF 0.02 each in the capital of ARYZTA on the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange.

These shares, trading in which on the SIX Swiss Exchange commenced today, have been issued pursuant to the placing announced by ARYZTA on 10 January 2012 (announcement available at www.aryzta.com/news-and-media/news-releases).

It is expected that admission of the 4,252,239 registered shares to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange will become effective on 17 January 2012.
