Ascot Plc has been advised on 20 December 2000 that following
a corporate re-organisation within the Zurich Financial
Services Group the following intermediate holding companies:

Scudder Kemper Investments, Inc; Zurich Holding Company of
America Inc; ZKI Holding Corporation and Zurich Insurance
Company hold an interest in the 2,765,275 ordinary shares in the
Company as disclosed on 19 October 2000.
