Board Changes

Following the announcement on 1 June 2001 by The Dow Chemical Company that its
offer for Ascot had become wholly unconditional, Ascot's Executive Directors,
Howard Paul Dyer and Martin John Rogers have resigned and Geoffrey William
Dann, Geoffrey Colin Finkemeyer and George Biltz have been appointed to
Ascot's Board of Directors with effect from today.
