                       Anite Group plc ('the Company')

An additional application has been made to the Financial Services Authority
for a total of 420,404 Ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares') to be admitted
to the Official List and the London Stock Exchange plc for trading.

It is expected that admission will be granted 24 October 2001 and that trading
will commence on 25 October 2001

These shares are being issued as a deferred consideration for the purchase of
Carus Ab.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary shares.
