Anite plc ('Anite') was notified on 16 June 2009 that the following purchases of Anite ordinary shares of 11.25p each were made on 15 June 2009, pursuant to the Company's Share Incentive Plan:

All of the above interests are beneficial interests of the respective person. 

Mr Humphrey's total beneficial shareholding has fallen compared to previous announcements as it now reflects the effect of the Anite plc share consolidation (8 shares for every 9 shares held) that was completed on 31 January 2009

The disclosure made in respect of Christopher Humphrey are as a result of notifications made in accordance with both DR 3.1.2R of the Disclosure Rules and section 324 (as extended by section 328) of the Companies Act 1985.
