Appointment of new Non Executive Director

Anite plc ('Anite'), the leading provider of software solutions to the international wireless and leisure travel industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Taylor as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 5 October 2009.

From March 2001 to date, Paul has held the position of Group Finance Director with AVEVA Group plc, the world's leading engineering IT software provider to the plant, power and marine industries. Paul joined AVEVA in 1989 where he has held a number of roles and gained considerable experience of the demands of a growing global software business. Paul is a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. 

Commenting on the board changes, Clay Brendish Anite's Chairman, stated: 

'We are very pleased to announce Paul's appointment as a non-executive director of the Company. We are confident that Paul will prove to be a valuable addition to the Board.' 

Paul Taylor commented:
