                  Completion of Lorien Consulting acquisition

Anite Group plc is pleased to confirm that completion of its acquisition of
Lorien Consulting from Lorien plc for a consideration of up to £4.8 million,
announced on 10 January 2002, has taken place today. The transaction was
conditional upon Lorien Plc obtaining shareholder consent, which has now been
granted at an extraordinary meeting of its shareholders which took place earlier
today.

Anite's Chief Executive John Hawkins, commenting on Completion, said:

'Through the acquisition of Lorien Consulting we will significantly strengthen
our strategic consultancy capability in the Public Sector market. The innovative
customer programmes provided by Lorien will be offered by the Group and will
provide improved customer retention and loyalty for our clients' customers.'
