Anite Group plc ('Anite' or 'the Group'), the worldwide IT solutions and
services company, today announces that its Group Finance Director, Christopher
Humphrey, is currently taking a leave of absence on health grounds. This
requires surgery and a period of recuperation of at least three months. The
Board of Anite wishes him a speedy recovery and return to the Group.


Neil Bass, the Group Financial Controller since 2000, is overseeing the Group
finance function in the immediate future. The Board intends to appoint an
interim Finance Director to assist Neil during Chris's absence and in the
preparation of the Group's interim results for the six months ending 30 October
2006.
