Anite Group plc ('Anite'), the worldwide IT solutions and services company,
today announces that it has appointed Geoffrey Bicknell FCA as its Group Finance
Director on an interim basis, for an expected duration of around three months.

This follows the announcement regarding the Group Finance Director, Christopher
Humphrey, that was made on 11 September 2006, when it was indicated that an
interim appointment would be made to assist Neil Bass, the Group Financial
Controller, during Chris's absence on health grounds and in the preparation of
the Group's interim results for the six months ending 30 October 2006.

Geoff was most recently Group Finance Director of Maxima Holdings plc, the AIM
listed IT systems integration and managed services company. Previously he served
as Group Finance Director of Northgate Information Solutions Plc, the UK's
leading supplier of specialist software and IT services for the Human Resource,
Education and Public Service markets.
