Trading Statement
Anite Group plc, the European IT consultancy and services company, today made the following statement on current trading conditions:
Trading in the first half of the financial year has been ahead of management expectations, with a strong performance in both core divisions, IT Solutions and Consultancy. Order intake at Anite Telecoms remains strong, including US$3 million of orders from the Chicago sales office opened in July. Anite Travel has seen continued growth, led by demand for its managed service solutions. The company's IT Consultancy operations have performed well, with a contribution in line with expectations from the French IT consultancy, Datavance acquired in July 2000.
The interim results for the six months ended 30 October 2000 are due to be announced on 16 January 2001.
