BOARD CHANGES


The Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Adam
Fleming as a non-executive director of the company with effect from 25 June
2001.


Mr Adam Fleming is non-executive chairman of Harmony Gold Mining Co. Ltd and a
non-executive director of Merrill Lynch World Mining Trust plc. He was
previously deputy chairman of Robert Fleming Holdings Limited.
