Board Appointment

The Board of Edinburgh Dragon Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlie Ricketts as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 19 April 2016. 

Charlie Ricketts has 30 years' experience within the investment funds arena.  He was until 2014, the head of investment funds at Cenkos Securities, providing equity capital markets services to the fund management industry and to investment trust companies.  He recently founded Crix Capital, a consultancy, enterprise philanthropy and venture funding business. 

Prior to this he was a managing director of UBS Investment Bank and head of investment funds. He began his investment career as an investment director of Johnson Fry and head of marketing and investment product development at Gartmore Investment Management.  

Mr Ricketts currently has no beneficial interests in the shares of the Company.

There are no disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Financial Conduct Authority Listing Rules.
