Board Appointment

As part of the ongoing process to refresh the Board, the Company is delighted to announce the appointment of Iain McLaren as an independent non-executive Director of the Company and member of its Audit Committee, with effect from 6 September 2010. 

Mr McLaren (59) retired from KPMG in 2008 having been a partner for 27 years and was Senior Partner in Scotland from 1999 to 2004. He is the Senior Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman of Cairn Energy Plc.  He is also a non-executive director of Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon Plc and Investors Capital Trust Plc and a director of a number of other companies.  He is the Senior Vice President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Mr McLaren currently has no beneficial interests in the shares of the Company.

There are no disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Financial Services Authority Listing Rules.
