Issue of equity

The Board of Edinburgh Dragon Trust plc (the "Company") has today issued, subject to listing, 35,131 Ordinary Shares following elections by holders of the Company's 3.5% Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock 2018 ("CULS") to convert 108,987 nominal of CULS. The Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

It is expected that admission to the Official List and commencement of dealings in these Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 11 August 2011.

Following admission, there will be 196,346,350 Ordinary Shares and GBP 59,891,013 nominal of CULS in issue.
