Results of the Annual General Meeting held on 13 December 2006

At today's Annual General Meeting all resolutions were passed by shareholders.

In particular the Board is extremely pleased that shareholders have voted in
favour of continuation as an investment trust.  For Resolution 14, the
continuation of the Company as an investment trust, 99.8% of shareholders voting
at the meeting voted in favour.  The Board continues to believe there are
excellent investment opportunities in the Pacific region.

The proxy votes received in respect of the Annual General Meeting are shown in
