EDINBURGH DRAGON TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 11 April 2008, Edinburgh Dragon Trust plc purchased 170,000 of its own 20p
ordinary shares at 154.03 pence per share for cancellation. Following the buy
back, there are 233,560,375 ordinary shares in issue. The share buy-back will be
financed out of the capital reserve.
