Opening of Bahrain Office and Contract Gain
Pentagon Protection Plc ('PPR' or 'the Company'), the provider of safety and
security products for commercial, architectural and automobile glass, announces
it has formally opened its new Regional Office and application facilities in
Bahrain.
An initial order has already been received by the Bahrain office from a major
school for bomb-blast resistant film (consisting of four sites in Bahrain due
for completion at an estimated total value of £90,000).
Additional recent overseas contract gains in the Middle East totaling £107,000
include the installation of PPR's blast resistant FT800 safety film and
anchoring for a major petrochemical company in Egypt, and FT800 film, anchoring
and Bullet Proof windows for another petrochemical company in Algiers. PPR is
also undertaking further projects totaling £150,000 in Qatar, Uzbekistan, Sudan,
Iran and Dubai.
Chief Executive Graham Bannerman commented:
'Our regional facility in Bahrain will enable us to deal more effectively with
the execution of key contracts and simultaneously assist in winning more
business. We are already currently engaged in many significant projects
throughout the Middle East, where key organisations are seeking to improve
protection for their personnel. Whilst serving both the commercial buildings and
automotive sectors in the region, our focus is principally the installation of
bomb-blast security films in combination with our new 'anchoring' solutions. It
is well known that 90% of all injuries during a terrorist bomb are caused by
flying glass. Our bomb-blast protective systems for glazing are designed to
protect lives and reduce injuries'

Editors Notes
The opening of the Bahrain office is part of PPR's ongoing strategy of expanding
worldwide. The company already has operations across the Middle East and Europe,
and as was referred to in the announcement on 25 November 2005, Mr Haytham
ElZayn, a recently appointed non-executive director based in the US will help
PPR to open up significant markets within the United States. Mr ElZayn is
President of National Administrative Solutions Corp ('NASC') and he will promote
PPR's products through NASC's extensive distribution and commercial network.
This will focus on PPR's glazing protection systems for homes and commercial
buildings (providing protection against bomb blast and hurricane damage), whilst
distributing PPR's film and anchoring products into the wholesale building
products market, and PPR's automotive products into the extensive US car retail
market.
In June 2005 Mr ElZayn acquired 14,322,349 shares in PPR (currently representing
8.6% approx. of the issued share capital).
