Pentagon Protection PLC 31 July 2006 31.July.2006 Pentagon Protection Plc ('Pentagon') Further significant overseas contract gains for glass protection specialists Pentagon Pentagon, specialist suppliers of exclusive glass containment services and systems providing protection against bomb blast and solar radiation for commercial properties announces today further significant overseas contract gains including security upgrade works for Dubai's Jumeirah International at their Burj Al Arab hotel with a contract value of over £130,000. The contract is for the application of Pentagon's FT800 glass containment film and exclusive Pentagon Elite Flexible Anchoring System. It is a further contract award to Pentagon from Jumeirah International, having recently completed similar security upgrade contracts to Jumeirah International's Emirates Tower, Jumeirah Beach and Burj Al Arab hotels in Dubai amounting to over £230,000. Amisola Immobilien AG awarded Pentagon the contract for a full glazing inspection programme at their 113metre high Andromeda Tower in Vienna. Pentagon proposed the application of a bespoke system utilising the Pentagon FT800 glass containment and Elite flexible anchoring system, which will provide a safe and cost effective solution. The exterior glass walls are constructed with 12mm toughened glass with each pane of the 3,000 identified to be treated weighing more than 100kg. The initial contract is worth over £40,000.
