Further contract gains

Pentagon Protection Plc (AIM: PPR), the global specialist in the supply and installation of enhanced glass protection and security, announces contract award wins for the group with a combined value of over £78,500.

Pentagon's security division, SDS Group continues to support the UN and its many Agencies worldwide with recent contracts including further agencies in Jordan and Tunisia.

Dr John Wyatt MBE, Technical Director of SDS Group commented:

'Using expert knowledge of blast effects, over 30 building surveys have been carried out in Geneva alone to provide better protection for these agency organisations and their staff.'

SDS is also involved in helping at the design stage for new buildings and is presently carrying out work for the new landmark Conference Centre in Geneva to ensure compliance with the UN Mitigation Strategy. 

Pentagon's glass protection division has won a contract award for the supply and installation of solar-control film to the external surface of reception overhead glazing at a hospital in North London. This contract award has a value of £15,000 and was awarded to provide reduced solar heat gain and glare after survey and film to glass analysis.

A further contract award for Pentagon's glass protection division, with a value of over £43,500 is for the removal of existing film and the supply and installation of high-tensile strength protection film, as per Home Office recommendations, to two properties in Central London. This contract was awarded after carrying out glazing audit investigations and reports to both properties.
