PENTAGON ANNOUNCE FURTHER CONTRACT GAINS

Pentagon Protection plc (AIM: PPR) announces further contract awards this month with a total value of £270,000.

Contracts awarded to Pentagon's security division, SDS Group include the supply of portable digital X-Ray equipment, procured by an overseas government to the value of £144,000. Additionally, SDS took receipt of the second year confirmation of a five year contract, renewable annually, for on-going support and maintenance of in-service X-Ray equipment for a department of the UK government at a value of £70,000.

Pentagon's window film division has also successfully achieved contract gains again this month that include the award to supply and install 3M Low E energy reducing film to a local government building as part of their Climate Change Strategy in reducing its own carbon footprint with the installation of solar film to retain heat in cooler months and reduce excessive heat in warmer months. The works also include the removal of existing degraded film and has a value of £18,000.

Further gains also include external rooflight works at a designer retail outlet in the North of England with works including the removal of existing film from overhead glazing panels and the installation of one of the latest external outside weatherable films that again provide increased solar energy rejection. Pentagon is also to carry out a full glazing audit survey on site to record and audit all glazing in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations. These works have a value of £40,000.

"We are extremely pleased to announce these additional contract gains and are excited because several projects we have been working on for some time are starting to close.  We have devoted significant efforts towards growing our sales pipeline as many projects in our industry, especially in the current economic climate, to have very long sales cycles. We are starting to see this investment pay off.  We are also happy to report that our efforts in the Middle East are also starting to bear fruit and we fully expect to gain additional work from this region in the very near future."
