New Chairman Appointed 

Pentagon Protection (AIM: PPR), the global specialist in the supply and installation of enhanced glass protection, is pleased to announce that Haytham ElZayn, a Non-Executive Director of Pentagon Protection since October 2005, will assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.

The new role enables Chief Executive Officer Alan Nicholl to focus on the day-to-day running of the Company, and to meet quoted company governance best practice by separating the two most senior Board roles.    

Haytham ElZayn, 53, will remain based in the USA. He will continue to use his international business contacts to open doors for Pentagon.

Deputy Chairman and Non-Executive Director Liu Chunlin has announced his resignation from the Board in order broaden his academic experience. He has enrolled for a doctorate which commences this autumn.   

Alan Nicholl, Chief Executive Officer, said:

'I am delighted that Haytham ElZayn has assumed the role of Non-Executive Chairman of Pentagon Protection. This meets AIM governance best practice and importantly frees more of my time to focus on developing the business.  I would like to thank Liu Chunlin for his service to the Company and wish him well in his return to academe.'
