New Contract Wins
Pentagon Protection (AIM: PPR), the global specialist in the supply and
installation of enhanced glass protection, is pleased to announce that the Company has won three new contracts at a combined value of £109,000.
The largest new contract is for the installation of a solar control reflective film at a Manchester-based multi-let office building. The contract value is £50,000 which includes the supply and installation of reflective film to 1,531 panes of glass with works expected to take between 5 and 7 weeks to complete.
The second largest contract, valued at around £35,000, has been awarded by one of the North West's leading construction and development groups. This contract is for the supply and installation of blast protection film at a prestigious building in central Liverpool. The film is being applied to 1,135 square metres of glass over 10 floors.
The smaller of the three contracts, valued at £24,000, is Phase II of a previously announced contract (announced to shareholders on 29 February) for a Swiss intergovernmental organization. Phase II involves the supply and installation of a 200 micron clear 2-ply security film to the internal surface of external windows from the ground to fourth floor of a building in Geneva.
In addition to the new contracts, the Company reports that it continues to hold discussions with two smaller companies identified for acquisition. This follows the successful raising of £445,000 acquisition finance as announced to shareholders on 23 June 2008.
Alan Nicholl, Pentagon's Chairman, said:
'We are particularly pleased to be winning contracts for our solar control films, which enables our clients to considerably reduce their energy use and cost, but more importantly help in the reduction of CO2 emissions.'
